When I was a kid, I started reading Agatha Christie books and if I was alone, I'd get scared and would phone my parents to ask when they were coming home. LOL. Interesting question - I've been thinking for days about what scares me. As you can tell from these movies, I'm scared of ghosts. I can't be home alone and watch either movie, I end up turning to another TV station. Something humorous, if possible. The street turned just before arriving at the bridge but neighborhood kids loved to walk on the boards of the bridge. Sadly, this season the crazy plot is simply using the reality of 2020 Covid-19 to base a full season. Vampires scare me! Probably for two reasons:
When I was a little girl, my parents took my brother and me to the drive-in frequently, always to see scary movies, including Dracula, which my mother loved. When we got home, I did not want to go to my room in the big, old house we lived in. I was too frightened.
The second reason: At some point, I learned that my paternal grandmother had come from Transylvania in Romania. Transylvania! That freaked me out!
Now, it's funny but it sure wasn't back then.Patricia Gligor's Writers Forumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16801554698484928100noreply@blogger.com
